About this place

In the unmistakable spirit of the celebrated architect Jacques Couëlle, this sculptural villa in Mougins has been fully renovated in 2025, marrying an organic architectural vision with every modern comfort. Couëlle — known as the "architect of happiness" — rejected the straight line in favour of nature's own forms, and that influence is everywhere here: flowing white arches, curved volumes and soft, sweeping lines that make each space feel sculpted by hand rather than built. The villa enjoys a prime, peaceful setting just moments from international schools, the golf course and the surrounding woodland. Behind its graceful arches and terracotta roofline, the interior unfolds in generous, light-filled volumes, where walls of glass open directly onto the garden and frame the magnificent lagoon-style swimming pool at the heart of the grounds. The accommodation comprises a principal suite and four additional bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, offering comfort and privacy for family and guests alike. A dedicated study and a cinema room complete the main living spaces, while an independent apartment — fully equipped with its own kitchen and bathroom — provides flexible accommodation for guests or staff. Framed by mature gardens and tall pines, the property offers a rare sense of seclusion while remaining close to everything that makes Mougins one of the Riviera's most desirable addresses. More than a home, this is an architecturally distinctive residence — a sculptural, light-filled villa offering comfort, privacy and immediate access to the very best of Mougins, its celebrated gastronomy, golf, international schools and the glamour of nearby Cannes.
