Can people from the GCC buy property in the UK, Spain and France?
Yes. All three countries allow foreign buyers, including residents and citizens of the Gulf states, to own homes there. The buying process, taxes and fees differ in each country, so take local legal advice before you commit.
Do I have to travel to buy?
Not always. Many buyers shortlist online, view homes by video call and let a local lawyer handle the paperwork, then visit once before completion or at handover.
Can I get a mortgage as a non-resident?
